Ripcurl on the move .....

Having saved the day recently at the new flag ship store for Ricurl in Newquay by recabling and resiting the store the night before opening and getting the tils and back office kit up and running, phase two is about to get going. Thankfully this time there is a bit more warning .... like a few weeks rather than a few hours.

Compu-K are presiding over the cable requirements for the Ripcurl UK Head Office element that are moving from the Treloggan Ind Est site to the first floor of the Ripcurl Store in Newquay - with great views out over the Harbour and Newquay Bay. We shall provide the internal lan and secure wireless lan for the reps.

End of week

Well the end of the week came and with it the supply of a new Netbook for Room-scapes.co.uk & Pro Style Interiors. Tony was very pleased with it as he can now give digital presentations to clients onsite and also log back to the office to check the mail or check something on the acccounts.

Rush Job ........

Well last Tuesday afternoon at 4pm we had a call from a large hotel in Newquay that required a new PC and all their data transferred by Thursday lunchtime ! The problem they had was that the existing PC was no longer capable of taking their Sage Upgrades and the deadline for their submissions was on Thursday.

Never let it be said that Compu-K will not rise to the challenge, not only did we build them a new PC running Windows Vista but we transferred the data, liased with Sage and presented them their new kit by Thursday lunchtime with their Payroll and Accounts packages not only loaded but up and running as if nothing had ever happened. Needless to say they were very pleased.

Update on Online Quote System

Ralph & Co are just about to go live on the primelocation.com website. Clients search for properties can now get a quote online by clicking the Ralph & Co link. DW was " very excited " by it all.
